ACT/CBS Background and Training: Trained in ACT by supervisor, John Billig, PHD, during internship at VAMC, Minneapolis, 2003-2004; experiential workshop with Kelly Wilson at SI in Reno in 2004; attended SI's in Houston (2007), Chicago (2008), and Reno (2010); reviewed Benji Schoendorff's DVD's of doing ACT with OCD in French to rate adherence; helped with beta testing the on-line RFT tutorial; have taught components of ACT to Interviewing and Interventions class at the University of Minnesota (first year graduate students) in Fall, 2007; taught ACT components to case workers as part of their continuing education workshps through the Healthy Families Network (a nonprofit organization providing educational interventions to individuals working with "at risk families"); did regular ACT work individually with clients at the VAMC in Minneapolis in my role as staff psychologist, involved in listserve discussions (e.g., cited in the Talking ACT book).
