ACT/CBS Background and Training: I first started using ACT in my clinical work in 2002 after attending an experiential introduction to the model. After further training and experience of using ACT within a child and adolescent mental health service,I began to deliver training to others in 2007. I am now a peer-reviewed ACT trainer. I deliver training to trainee clinical psychologists at Bangor University, and to colleagues working the NHS in North Wales. I also provide ACT training, supervision and therapy in private practice. I am currently serving as past-president for the UK and Republic of Ireland Chapter of ACBS.
