ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist currently providing individual and group psychotherapy, including ACT interventions, in the mental health outpatient clinic and PTSD clinic of a Veterans Administration Medical Center. I am also a VA ACT trainer and consultant. I studied ACT under Dr. Jelena Kecmanovic at American School of Professional Psychology, Washington DC, provided ACT in a correctional facility, and at the Martinsburg VA in West Virginia, provided Brief ACT and FACT in the primary care unit of the Leavenworth VA as an intern. I continued integrating ACT into my interventions working with the outpatient geriatric, and inpatient living center, palliative care, and hospice populations. I completed the VA ACT training with Robyn Walser in January, 2015. I provide an ACT group and individual ACT. I am also currently providing supervision and consultation of ACT for fellow staff including psychologists and social workers, and for psychology practicum students and interns.
