I completed my internship at the VA Medical Center in Togus, Maine, in 2008. There I worked under the supervision of Kevin Polk and Jerold Hambright. Subsequently I worked as a psychologist resident at the Portland Psychotherapy Clinic, Research, and Training Center, supervised by Jason Luoma and Jenna LeJeune. After that, I spent thirteen years working as a university professor, which included supervising a CBS lab and an ACT practicum. Currently I am a staff psychologist at a VA hospital in Michigan, where I provide ACT for veterans struggling with substance misuse. I am developing a new clinical tool called the ACT Wayfinder.
