ACT/CBS Background and Training: I was trained by ACT experts throughout graduate school, internship, and for 4 years after that in a tic/trichotillomania specialty clinic. I use ACT often in my practice. I'm experienced with using ACT to help people with body focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking, etc.). I also use ACT in treating OCD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and life problems in general.
Additional Information: I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Acceptance Enhanced Behavior Therapy (AEBT) for BFRBs, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), Exposure techniques as in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD.
