ACT/CBS Background and Training: I began studying ACT while still a student of Counseling, and I have continued to increase my knowledge and practice of ACT with numerous clients over the last 6 years. I have attended two 2-day trainings in ACT, and I have read extensively in the literature. Unlike most ACT practitioners, my background is in Jungian psychology and psychotherapy. I actively use ACT in my practice and I am excited to continue learning more about ACT/RFT as the research grows and develops.
