ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am a psychiatrist in private practice and a PhD student at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where I research suicidal ideation, mental disorders, and theoretical models of suicide. My background in ACT and CBS comes from clinical practice, postgraduate training, and ongoing study in contextual behavioral therapies, including FAP and DBT besides ACT.

I am currently completing the postgraduate program in Contextual Behavioral Therapies at CEFI (Center for Studies of the Family and the Individual) in Porto Alegre, and I am also part of CEFI’s Contextual Therapies Study Group (ETC). In addition, I have completed the Harvard training in Good Psychiatric Management (GPM) for Borderline Personality Disorder.

My main interest is integrating ACT/CBS with psychiatry, suicide research, case formulation, and clinical work with complex psychopathology.
ACT/CBS Experience: Psychiatrist and PhD student at UFRGS with postgraduate training in Contextual Behavioral Therapies at CEFI
