ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have a strong foundation in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Contextual Behavioral Science (CBS), integrating these approaches into my work in yoga, meditation, and psychological well-being. I hold an undergraduate degree in Counselling and have 15 years of experience in mindfulness and counseling.
I have primarily learned ACT and CBS through books and online sources, supplementing my knowledge with formal coursework, such as a Mindfulness & Wellbeing course on Coursera. My practical application includes developing a Clinical Yogic Meditation training that incorporates ACT principles.
Additionally, my research and practice focus on combining ACT with Classical Tantric Yoga, particularly in the context of spiritual and psychological well-being. My work emphasizes embodiment, selfhood, and transcendence, aligning with ACT’s focus on psychological flexibility and value-based living.

Additional Information: I am currently developing a Yogic Mindfulness Intervention (YMI), an ACT and MBCT-informed program tailored to individuals with a traditional yoga and Hindu spiritual orientation. This intervention seeks to enhance psychological well-being and spiritual growth by incorporating Non-Dual Śaiva Tantra as its philosophical foundation while maintaining the structured approach of MBCT and ACT.
