ACT/CBS Background and Training: For my final three semesters in grad school, I utilized ACT as my theoretical orientation for clinical case conceptualizations. During that time, I worked through ACT Made Simple and chose my go-to interventions for the six core processes and brought those into my client sessions. I gained experience "dancing around the hexaflex" within sessions and saw how using ACT interventions improved my clients' self-awareness, self-compassion, and lives in general. I continued diving into ACT through reading scholarly articles, listening to podcasts, attending trainings, and monitoring the ACBS listervs for up-to-date info on ACBS practices. I now use ACT as my main theoretical foundation in my work with clients. I most recently read an article that showed application of ACT for autistic adults experiencing burnout.
ACT/CBS Experience: 4 years
Additional Information: I work at a group private practice, offering telehealth sessions for individuals, couples/relationships, and families in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California. I also see clients in person in Northampton, MA.

I operate from an ACT foundation, while weaving somatic awareness/wisdom with present-moment mindfulness techniques, IFS parts work, EMDR for trauma processing, and Gottman Method within couples/relationships work.
