ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am an ACT practitioner specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders using ACT protocols and materials. I have completed over 100 hours of formal ACT training and have facilitated multiple ACT groups for veterans with anxiety, depression, and PTSD in a VA outpatient mental health clinic. In my private practice, I integrate ACT into both individual psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups to address mood disorders, personality pathology, and emotional regulation challenges.
ACT/CBS Experience: ACT Bootcamp; 100+ hours of ACT training
Additional Information: My mission is to deliver compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care that enables individuals to understand their experiences without stigma or judgment. Grounded in ACT, my psychotherapy approach emphasizes: a comprehensive understanding of how trauma affects the body, mind, and relationships; a collaborative therapeutic environment that prioritizes insight, trust, and emotional safety; respect for each client’s identity, autonomy, and lived experiences; and a recovery process that is meaningful, goal-oriented, and sustainable.
