ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am a Registered Behaviour Analyst (UK-SBA, PSA-accredited register) specialising in Clinical Behaviour Analysis. My practice integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other contextual behavioural science approaches with Positive Behaviour Support and constructional methods. As an autistic professional, my focus is on autonomy, consent and quality of life for the people I work with. My goal is to strengthen the bridge between contextual behavioural science and behaviour analysis in the UK, ensuring that ACT remains grounded in its behavioural roots while being applied ethically and collaboratively across clinical and educational settings.
ACT/CBS Experience: 4 Years
Additional Information: I am especially interested in advancing Clinical Behaviour Analysis as a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed application of contextual behavioural science. My work focuses on blending ACT, Positive Behaviour Support and constructional approaches to improve quality of life, autonomy and meaningful engagement.
Within ACBS I am keen to collaborate with colleagues on research, supervision and community-building projects, particularly around:
• Establishing practice standards for Clinical Behaviour Analysis
• Developing consent-based, participatory interventions
• Sharing lived-experience perspectives of autism in contextual behavioural science
• Creating resources and training that keep ACT and related methods grounded in behavioural science
