ACT/CBS Background and Training: I received ACT training from a diverse range of trainers and integrate these processes into my counselling practice to foster psychological flexibility across various populations. My doctoral research focused on the intersection of CBS and caregiving, specifically investigating the impact of ACT-based group therapy on the Psychological Flexibility (PF) and Psychological Inflexibility (PI) of Malaysian parents of children with special health care needs. This work led to the development of the My-CARE Module, a culturally adapted intervention designed to enhance caregivers' mental health through a functional contextualist lens.
