Dr Kramer is highly skilled in delivering Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), High-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support adults, children, adolescents, and families with complex mental health and neurodevelopmental needs.

His research focuses on improving access to NHS care by defining and characterising integrated clinical pathways for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of Tic Disorders in children and young people. Dr Kramer has also led studies exploring school-based support strategies for young people with Tics & Tourette’s, aiming to enhance educational and psychosocial outcomes, as well as research exploring Cognitive processes in autism: Repetitive thinking in autistic versus non-autistic adults.
