ACT/CBS Background and Training: I'm a full time professor of clinical and health psychology at Tec de Monterrey.
I'm the former program director for the BSc in Clinical and Health Psychology at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey Campus.
I hold a Masters degree in Contextual Therapies by the Madrid Institute of Contextual Psychology, a Masters in Social Psychology from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Clinical and Health Psychology from Tecnologico de Monterrey.
Likewise, I have a postgraduate diploma on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Third Generation Therapies by the Cognitive Behavioural Psychology Center of Monterrey, Mexico and I took an intensive course on Dialectial Behavioral Therapy by DBT Iberoamerica. I continue to learn ACT with the ACT Immersion program by Dr. Steven Hayes, other online resources, and I am being supervised by more experienced contextual therapists.
I started a peer-supervsion group for last year undergraduate psychology students based on the Portland Model and I've been part of another group for Latinamerican contextual therapist for over two years now.
I teach ACT basic and advanced principles on two posgraduate diplomas from different institutions.
