ACT/CBS Background and Training: Over the last 9 years I have completed multiple mindfulness and acceptance-based experiential courses (8-week and weekends) and trainings. I have been receiving supervision from an ACT-based lens over the course of those 9 years. This has taken place within an ACT-based outpatient clinic at the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center in Chatsworth, CA which is part of the Greater Los Angeles VA System. I also completed my internship at a private psychiatric hospital in Vermont doing individual and group ACT work. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship at the non-profit Harvard-Vanguard Medical Associates, offering individual and group outpatient therapy. I now work in private practice in an outpatient setting. I also adjunct teach at Boston College for undergraduates and graduates.
