ACT/CBS Background and Training: I began my clinical career in 2016 as a psycho-oncology intern at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN) in Peru, where I developed a strong interest in contextual behavioural approaches while supporting patients and families facing cancer, trauma, grief, and psychological distress. Since 2017, I have integrated Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my clinical practice with adults and adolescents, alongside ongoing advanced training, supervision, and consultation in contextual behavioural science.

My ACT/CBS training has been complemented by advanced education in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness-based interventions, and contemporary Process-Based Therapy. Since 2020, I have co-designed and taught a one-year ACT training program for mental health professionals across Latin America, integrating ACT, Relational Frame Theory (RFT), clinical behaviour analysis, mindfulness, and compassion-based approaches into applied clinical training.

My interests focus on the clinical, organisational, and public health applications of Relational Frame Theory (RFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Process-Based Therapy (PBT), particularly psychological flexibility, mindfulness, implementation science, workplace mental health, and translating contextual behavioural science into sustainable real-world impact.
ACT/CBS Experience: Practicing ACT with adults and adolescents since 2017, grounded in advanced training across ACT/CBS, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness-based approaches. Since 2020, co-designing and teaching a year-long ACT training program for clinicians across Latin America.
Additional Information: Current focus: applying RFT, ACT, mindfulness-based processes, and Process-Based Therapy across three areas. In private practice, delivering ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based psychotherapy to Peruvian clients, alongside coaching for a broader international client base. In workplace mental health, promoting and consulting on evidence-based interventions grounded in implementation science and psychological flexibility at work. And in mental health startup development, co-founding early-stage ventures that translate behavioural science into scalable digital tools for emotional wellbeing and psychological health promotion.
