Mission/Objectives
The Supervision and Consultation SIG’s mission is to enhance the quality of supervision and consultation practices by fostering a collaborative community for professionals. We are dedicated to supporting individuals in supervisory roles through shared knowledge, resources, and ongoing education. By promoting the integration of CBS processes, we aim to facilitate the values-based and contextually sensitive functions of supervision, empowering supervisees to deliver services with fidelity and competency, while also considering their wellbeing, and ultimately improving client care. We strive to reduce isolation among clinicians, clarify essential competencies, and disseminate effective practices in supervision and consultation.
