ACT Modelling Bank

ACT Modelling Bank is a collection of videos of ACT therapy skills being demonstrated by experienced ACT therapists and trainers.
Here are the playlists you can watch to learn how ACT looks in action:

If you have any videos you are willing to share with ACBS community, it would be a valuable contribution to the community.
Here are some preliminary requirements that we invite you to keep in mind if you'd like to share your materials:
·       The project only includes ACT-consistent videos (for now)
·       Videos should demonstrate episodes of working with clients and demonstrating the usage of specific skills rather than didactic materials, lectures and explanations of the model
·       Videos should not be longer than 60 minutes (preferably not shorter than 10 minutes in order to fully demonstrate a technique or a skill)
·       It can be helpful to have the trainer’s conceptualization of the session in a separate video or as comments/text on the video itself
·       Videos should be recorded after receiving an explicit consent from a client with an explanation of the purpose and wide availability of the subsequent video. In case of lack of such consent, the video can be recorded with an actor or a colleague playing a role of a client, in which case, it should include a disclaimer that it should not bear resemblance of one specific client and all resemblance to real cases are accidental. Videos should not include any personal confidential information about a client, such as their last name, contact details, address or place of employment
·       We haven't given proper thought to uploading videos in different languages yet, but it seems like it might be a good idea, especially if there's a chance of providing subtitles. We won't be able to check whether the videos follow the above mentioned requirements if they are recorded in languages we don't know, so the authors will have to provide subtitles or transcripts in English so that we can approve the provided video.

If you have any additional suggestions regarding the requirements, please contact Daria Suchilina, a member of the Training Committee, at [email protected]
