ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have been learning and practicing ACT since 2011. I received 5 years of intensive ACT training in graduate school, predoctoral internship and postdoctorate fellowship. Since becoming licensed in 2016, I have prioritized ACT in my therapy work and my supervision of mental health trainees (PhD, MD, SW, and MHC candidates) and I directed an ACT program and team of clinicians for 3 years at a multi-site outpatient practice. I continue to engage with ACT in my clinical practice, my training and consultation, and as adjunct faculty working with graduate students in psychology. On a bi-weekly basis, I meet with other ACT practitioners in a consultation group, focused on learning and growing as an ACT clinician. I have been designated by ACBS as a Peer Reviewed ACT Trainer.
