ACT/CBS Background and Training: I've studied ACT theory and technique since 2004 and I'm familiar with much of the ACT clinical outcome studies. I've completed a telecourse with ACT founder Steven Hayes, a two-day experiential workshop with Sonja Batten and a 1-day workshop with DJ Moran. I also helped Jason Luoma pilot a chapter on case formulation for his book "Learning ACT: An Acceptance & Commitment Therapy Skills-Training Manual for Therapists."
ACT/CBS Experience: I integrate ACT, mindfulness, cognitive therapy and behavior therapy strategies in my work with therapy and coaching clients.
Additional Information: I offer therapy in my Fredericksburg, VA office and coaching & consulting in-office and worldwide via phone and online conferencing. I also offer continuing education workshops on-site and online for psychologists, counselors, social workers and coaches.
