ACT/CBS Background and Training: As a graduate student at the University of Washington, I learned ACT as one of several behavior therapy approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Behavioral Activation, and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy. I received my first ACT training in 1997 and another in 2005.
ACT/CBS Experience: I have been incorporating ACT into my clinical work since 1998 when I was a student.
