ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have being the Co-ordinator of the Byron Bay ACT Mental Health Professionals Group. I have found synergies with ACT in my healing dialogue approach to working with clients drawing upon Ericksonian, Solution Oriented, hakomi and CBT . I also have taught Motivational Counselling as an academic. I am excited to find ACT and a level of community in ACT, mindfulness and compassion based approaches to helping change.
