ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am a chartered forensic psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have extensive experience of group and 1-1 therapy. ACT has been an increasingly integral part of my clinical practice in the last four years. I have participated in a range of peer reviewed ACT training and found that ACT has enabled me to integrate a wide range of pre-existing therapeutic training into an evidence based framework.
ACT/CBS Experience: I have completed several peer reviewed ACT courses via Praxis, PESI, psychwire and contextual consulting enabling me to integrate ACT into a wide range of previous therapuetic skills training in areas such as CBT, CFT, DBT, schema and narrative therapy.
Additional Information: I am a chartered psychologist by training which means I offer evidence-based therapy individualised to client need. I take the view that people are stuck, not broken. And I see my role as helping people to navigate through periods of difficulty and work towards a fulfilling and hopeful future.
