ACT/CBS Background and Training: My Ph.D. is Developmental and Child Psychology with specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. At the time of earning my degree and in the years immediately following, my work was primarily in the PBIS field and research in schools around student behavior. In the intervening years, I've been practicing mindfulness meditation and self-compassion and use these pieces in my coaching work. These interests and modalities have all come together in working with ACT. I actively participate in ACT study groups and peer supervision.
