ACT/CBS Background and Training: I became interested in ACT therapy due to Mindfulness work with Cancer Patients. My son who graduated from the University of Nevada Reno first suggested it since he had learned much about it in his field of study. The more I read about it the more it fit. I am now reading, using workbooks, tools and video tools with my clients. I listen to the ACT podcast several times a week. I am attending my first two day intensive ACT workshop in July.
ACT/CBS Experience: I have been using with my clients. I see people in distress due to cancer. I do see many individuals who have anxiety connected with their condition.
