ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have read, studied, researched, and practiced ACT and mindfulness-based methods since 1995. I got a Fall l995 version of the ACT "working manual" while working in Chicago. I began slowly using ACT methods in my clinical practice from that point. In 2000 I moved to the UK and began developing an interdicisplinary, ACT-based, chronic pain management service. I have attended a two day workshop done by Steve Hayes and a three day workshop done by Kelly Wilson.
