ACT/CBS Background and Training: Over the past eight years, I have attended numerous trainings and webinars on Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT). I completed the online Focused ACT (FACT) course with Russ Harris and the ACT for Behavior Analysts program with Steven Hayes. I have participated in a full-day ACT workshop with Dr. Tom Szabo and his research team at ABAI, as well as their Capture-A-Cloud 4-Day ACTr Intensive Workshop in Las Vegas. Additionally, I am enrolled in Dr. Louise Hayes and Dr. Joseph Ciarrochi’s DNA-V for Young People training. I recently attended a conference featuring Dr. Evelyn Gould as the keynote speaker, whose presentation focused on ACT and DNA-V. I am currently disseminating ACT in my school district and using ACT with clients while delivering compassionate ABA services.
