ACT/CBS Background and Training: I received extensive training in ACT through Clinical Doctorate Training at Bangor University. I specialise work with children, adolescents and families however I have used ACT with a wide-range of service-user populations and NHS service settings including but not limited to: Long-Covid service, Paediatric Physical Health services, Oncology services, Adult mental health services (CMHT).

A neurodiverse clinician with both professional and lived experience of Tourette Syndrome and ADHD, Dr Kramer is a passionate advocate for neurodiversity. He regularly provides clinical lectures to universities and NHS services, speaks at national and international conferences, and is a proud member of the Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL) and Institute of Mental Health's - UK National Steering Committee for Tics & Tourette’s.

Dr Kramer is highly skilled in delivering high-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is experienced in the use of third wave therapies, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), to support children, young people, and families with complex mental health and neurodevelopmental needs.

His research focuses on improving access to NHS care by defining and characterising integrated clinical pathways for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of Tic Disorders in children and young people. Dr Kramer has also led studies exploring school-based support strategies for young people with Tics & Tourette’s, aiming to enhance educational and psychosocial outcomes.
