The Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (Bedford VAMC), located in Bedford, MA, USA, is offering an APA-accredited postdoctoral residency position in Clinical Psychology with a special emphasis on Tobacco Cessation for 2018-2019.

The psychology postdoctoral resident will provide mental health treatment and tobacco cessation counseling, and help integrate tobacco treatment into mental health services. The resident will provide counseling in several clinics at the Bedford VAMC and be part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. In addition, the resident will have the opportunity to participate in research and program development activities focused on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral therapy development projects for PTSD and tobacco, as well as organizational change for addressing tobacco in mental health settings.

All training involves an integration of professional activity and training from four primary domains: clinical; program development and administration; supervision and teaching; and research and program evaluation. Residents are actively involved in work within each of these domains. Residents are afforded considerable flexibility regarding training experiences and the clinical focus within each of the four domains.
