Dear Cyprus and Greece ACBS members,

There is an exciting opportunity for attending an Introductory Workshop in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in Greece.

This autumn I am giving a 4-hour introductory workshop (in Greek) presenting the premises of the ACT approach as part of the 7th Panhellenic Conference in Counseling Psychology. The conference will take place in Volos, Greece from the 8th to the 11th of November.

This introductory workshop designed to establish a foundational understanding of the Psychological Flexibility Model and the set of skills in ACT as they are applied within an ACT session. The six facets of the ACT approach along with knowledge on how to apply these facets to case formulation and treatment planning will be presented. The majority of the learning will be experiential in the sense that participants will be asked to integrate what they learn through application in role-plays, real-plays or group exercises.
