- Mindfulness for Two - Experiential Role Plays by Kelly Wilson
- Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy clips or demos from Beachy Bauman Consulting
- Simulated therapy - a playlist of role plays by David Gillanders
- Simulated therapy - a session presented by Gabriela Neves
- Open and Aware Pillars by Lou Lasprugato
- Network-informed ACT Matrix by Philipp Klein
If you have any videos you are willing to share with ACBS community, it would be a valuable contribution to the community.
Here are some preliminary requirements that we invite you to keep in mind if you'd like to share your materials:
· The project only includes ACT-consistent videos (for now)
· Videos should demonstrate episodes of working with clients and demonstrating the usage of specific skills rather than didactic materials, lectures and explanations of the model
· Videos should not be longer than 60 minutes (preferably not shorter than 10 minutes in order to fully demonstrate a technique or a skill)
· It can be helpful to have the trainer’s conceptualization of the session in a separate video or as comments/text on the video itself
· Videos should be recorded after receiving an explicit consent from a client with an explanation of the purpose and wide availability of the subsequent video. In case of lack of such consent, the video can be recorded with an actor or a colleague playing a role of a client, in which case, it should include a disclaimer that it should not bear resemblance of one specific client and all resemblance to real cases are accidental. Videos should not include any personal confidential information about a client, such as their last name, contact details, address or place of employment
· We haven't given proper thought to uploading videos in different languages yet, but it seems like it might be a good idea, especially if there's a chance of providing subtitles. We won't be able to check whether the videos follow the above mentioned requirements if they are recorded in languages we don't know, so the authors will have to provide subtitles or transcripts in English so that we can approve the provided video.
If you have any additional suggestions regarding the requirements, please contact Daria Suchilina, a member of the Training Committee, at [email protected]

ACT Modelling Bank Videos- Simulated Therapy by David Gillanders
Videos are kindly provided by David Gillanders. The clients are played by colleagues or students, they are prototypical rather than based on specific cases. No identifying information is provided.
This playlist shows the case of John, a man with IBS, takes the viewer through first assessment, conceptualisation, creative helplessness and then works on willingness, and values, but we didn’t do a lot of defusion or self as context work. This is divided into coherent sections and can be seen here:https://vimeo.com/126023263

https://vimeo.com/126024253- Simulated Therapy by Gabriela Neves
The video includes a simulated therapy session with Gabriela Neves, a Brazilian psychologist associated with ACBS Brazil. Gabriela works with Nataly, a fictional client who struggles to trust her new romantic partner after being deceived by her ex-boyfriend. In the video, a few defusion skills are presented to Nataly, and Gabriela invites her to be aware of how her feelings present themselves in Nataly's body as a way to stay open to her experiences. The therapist and the client explore flexible perspective taking, as well as values clarification within the context of romantic relationships.

- Network-informed ACT Matrix by Philipp Klein
In this three part video Philipp Klein (Lübeck, Germany) and Daria Suchilina (Moscow, Russia) will demonstrate how to construct an ACT Matrix informed by network theory.
- In the first video, Philipp will briefly introduce network theory, how it can be used in psychotherapy and how it informs his work with the matrix.
- In the second video, Daria and Philipp use real-play where Philipp tries to help Daria understand a situation she is struggling with from the perspective of the network-informed Matrix.
- In the third video, Daria and Philipp debrief the session, Daria focusses on her experiences with the session and Philipp uses this feedback to explain didactically what has happened in the session.
Please note: for some reason, the Zoom software only recorded Darias video, and not Philipps. Sincere apologies!
For that reason, Philipp has prepared a bonus video where you can actually see the matrix that he constructed together with Daria.
