Recorded Meetings and Presentations funded by ACBS CEP Grant

Purpose

The ACBS grant supported the development and dissemination of Spanish-, Portuguese-, and English-language educational content related to Relational Frame Theory (RFT), stimulus equivalence, open science, and the clinical application of behavior-analytic principles. The grant was used to support the organization and recording of a series of online academic conversations and presentations, making these materials accessible to the broader contextual behavioral science community.

3. RFT, Deictic Frames, and Open Science

Overall Impact
The grant facilitated the creation and dissemination of accessible academic content that promotes dialogue across researchers and practitioners working in contextual behavioral science. An important feature of the project was its multilingual scope, with activities conducted in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, thereby increasing access to RFT-related scholarship for researchers and practitioners in Latin America and beyond.

The recorded sessions also promoted exchange between theoretical, empirical, and clinical perspectives, including discussions of stimulus equivalence, RFT, deictic relational framing, open science, and the translation of research into clinical practice. These materials are intended to remain available as educational resources for members of the ACBS community.
