Dr Louise Hayes

We have spent several years developing ACT and Positive psychology for adolescents for use in the clinic, schools, and community settings. Don’t miss this workshop that will showcase our new model and build your skills with young people.

This workshop will showcase our new model of ACT for young people 12 to 20 years using our new book:
The Thriving Adolescent: Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Positive Psychology to Help Teens Manage Emotions, Achieve Goals, and Build Connection (Hayes, L & Ciarrochi, J,  due for release mid 2015)

Over two days we will introduce participants to our dynamic model for working with young people in clinics, in schools, in classrooms and in communities. The workshop is fun and creative. We focus on getting experiential about ACT rather than talking at young people.

This two-day workshop will show you how to use ACT experiential techniques confidently and dynamically with young people aged 12 to 20 years.
Two-day advanced-level workshop worth 12 specialised CPD hours
