ACT Peer Consultation Group for Augusta, GA, USA

Format of the Group
This group follows a modified Portland model of peer consultation, engaging in role play to practice skills and obtain consultation help. In each meeting, one person is in the “therapist” role to practice and build ACT skills, and one person is in the “client” role and either presents something personal to themselves or a client they are working with.  The rest of the group are observers who use structured methods to track processes during the role play and provide feedback on their observations.

Membership
Licensed mental health professionals or those in training and working under supervision toward licensure are welcome to join.

Meeting Information
The group meets online, via Microsoft Teams, every 3rd Friday of the month, from 12pm - 1pm EST on Microsoft Teams.
