ACT/CBS Background and Training: I first became interested in ACT by reading RFT articles and finding my way to the model of psychological flexibility, it fit perfectly with my Master of Social Work thesis: Yoga in the Healing of Anxiety & Depression: The Context for Learning Psychological Flexibility. I found myself in a Steve Hayes training then another, and another.
When I found ACBS, I knew I was home amongst the nerdy researchers who talked about things like love for clients, compassion for hard sessions, and acceptance of everything painful.

ACT/CBS Experience: I have extensive experience supervising graduate students in ACT (both in primary care and outpatient counselling centres) as well as research interests in evaluating ACT in groups (clinical and non-clinical populations). I give many workshops every year
