ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am a peer reviewed ACT trainer. My postgraduate training was in applied behaviour analysis, which is how I came across ACT. My first ACT training was with Steve Hayes in Australia around 2004, and that changed my clinical and research work completely.
Since then I have done numerous workshops, attended ACT conferences, and presented ACT training in the community. I have been using ACT in clinical work and in research work. I have a number of research projects underway, mainly using ACT with adolescents.
