ACT/CBS Background and Training: I have been involved with the ACBS community since 2005 and received all sorts of training (didactic & experiential) from the experts since 2006. I am a regular attendee and presenter at ACBS World Conferences. I am also a peer reviewed ACT trainer who spent 4 months on sabbatical at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). While there, I partook in ACT, FAP and DBT supervision teams and labs.

Additional Information: All my training since graduate school has been in Contextual CBTs including DBT, ACT and FAP.
I currently use ACT as the treatment of choice for general outpatient and incorporate some DBT skills (into committed action) in a private practice setting. Also provide ACT presentations/consultation services for clinicians and agencies.
In addition to co-leading yearly ACT experiential workshops, I was one of the founding members of the Chicago Chapter, continue to serve on ACBS committees and am a regular presenter at ACBS inter/national conferences.
