This July, ACBS members from around the world gathered in Washington DC for the largest ACBS World Conference ever. The conference attracted 817 participants who enjoyed intellectual and experiential engagement in a program packed with workshops, symposia, panel discussions, and special addresses. Thanks to all those who made this event possible, especially the WC10 Program Committee, chaired by Emily Sandoz. "The efforts of the folks who joined me on this journey have resulted in a program that I believe reflects the diversity, vitality, openness to ideas, and commitment to science that defines ACBS. I am proud of the work we accomplished together,” reflects Sandoz. New to the conference this year were fast-paced five-minute IGNITE presentations, as well as collective brainstorming sessions inside the Research and Program Development Forums. With generous contributions from the ACBS Chapters and Special Interest Groups, along with cheerleading by Secretary-Treasurer D.J. Moran, a silent auction generated $1803 for the Developing Nations Training Fund. Check out the growing collection of powerpoints and handouts from the conference here. And, be sure to join us for World Conference XI in Sydney, Australia next July!
